Rip Wahlberg
owner + founder
Rip Wahlberg, owner of Superior Color, brings a wealth of experience to every project, starting his journey in the painting trade at just 15 years old. In addition to painting, he holds a BA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Regent University.
Rip is most proud of all of his kids and enjoys watching them step out into life and succeed in their own unique ways. He also cherishes time with his grandson and never misses a chance to be part of those special moments. Rip’s hobbies include staying active at the gym and perfecting his BBQ-ing skills. His all-time favorite person is his wife, Ann-Marie, and he loves any time spent with her.
Blake Wahlberg
team lead
Blake works as a team lead at Superior Color and has been painting full-time since 2021. Along with painting, he also runs the business's social media accounts. Married to Olivia since 2021, he’s the proud father of a four-year-old son and is expecting a second son. He’s also a dog dad to Bear, a 5-year-old mini Australian Shepherd.
Outside of work, Blake likes challenging himself in the kitchen and trying new foods, often grilling and using his smoker. He also enjoys tackling home projects and building things for his wife. In his downtime, or while working, he likes listening to audiobooks, podcasts, and music to stay inspired and focused.
